Elena Basei is a PhD student specializing in Human-Aware Motion Planning for Collaborative Robotics. She previously interned at the Guardian Robot Project at the Japanese Research Institute, RIKEN, where she focused on assistive robotics and presented her findings at the CASE2024 conference. Currently, she is concentrating on predicting human behavior through deep learning methods and developing time-variant robot planners for robotic arms.
