Gianni Lunardi is a PhD Candidate in Material, Mechatronics and Systems Engineering at the University of Trento. His research focuses on safe control of robots inside a known environment, to avoid collisions and abort dangerous tasks. In the future, he aims to extend safe control strategy to human-robot collaboration, to ensure safety and efficiency in shared workspaces.
