ILUS 2025 @Trento, Italy

Plenary presentations at ILUS 2025

IDRA attended the 2nd International Lung Ultrasound Symposium 2025 (ILUS), held in Trento (Italy) on the 4-6 June 2025.

The Medical Robotics team, represented by Davide Nardi and Edoardo Lamon had two talks (plus a third one co-authored) at the 2nd International Lung Ultrasound Symposium 2025 (ILUS), held in Trento. Our work focused on teleoperated lung ultrasound, a growing area of interest at the intersection of robotics and medical imaging that faces novel challenges, both for roboticists and clinicians. As part of the event, we delivered two 15-minute presentation highlighting our methodology based on a novel way of generating virtual fixtures from the generation of a digital twin.

The session sparked meaningful discussions and valuable feedback from the community. It was a truly amazing experience to connect with leading researchers and clinicians in the field, and to showcase how robotic teleoperation can expand access to advanced diagnostic tools like lung ultrasound. Stay tuned for more updates from the team!
